LA Sailing Co. started with a simple belief: the best way to experience Los Angeles isn't from the shore — it's from the water.
Founded by lifelong sailors and LA natives, we've spent over a decade sharing the magic of the Pacific coastline with thousands of guests. From the golden cliffs of Malibu to the playful dolphins off Catalina, every voyage reveals a side of the city most people never see.
Our fleet sails year-round from Marina del Rey — the largest man-made small-craft harbour in the world — offering sunset cruises, private charters, corporate events, and everything in between.

Layers (it's cooler on the water), sunscreen, sunglasses, and soft-soled shoes. We provide everything else including refreshments.
Not at all. Our captains handle everything. You're welcome to help trim a sail or take the helm if you'd like, but it's entirely up to you.
Full refund up to 48 hours before departure. Within 48 hours, we offer a credit toward a future sail. Weather cancellations are always fully refunded.
Our shared cruises accommodate 6–12 guests. Private charters can host up to 20 depending on the vessel. Corporate events may be larger on our catamaran.
The waters off Marina del Rey are typically very calm. We recommend taking seasickness precautions if you're prone to motion sickness. Our crew is trained to help and we keep ginger candies on board.
